Thin Film Products, the French leader in the manufacturing of thin-film microwave circuits for space, military and civil applications, merges with SERMA Microelectronics.

Since its acquisition in 2020 by SERMA Microelectronics, a subsidiary of SERMA Group specialized in the development of semiconductor integration processes and the manufacture of technical ceramic substrates, TFP (Thin Film Products) has been keen to capitalize on its in house processes in manufacturing of thin-film ceramic substrates, to strengthen its quality system (which notably enabled it to obtain ISO9001 certification in July 2022) and to develop technical gateways towards SERMA Microelectronics.

These breakthrough allow SERMA Microelectronics to provide its customers more integrated services with higher added value (new processes, new materials, semiconductor integration through die attach on the substrates, test and qualification, technological mix…).

In order to pursue the development of those activities, the right time seems here to go further with the integration of TFP to SERMA Microelectronics, through a merge of the companies.
